Perkahwinan suku kaum Bajau lagi..

Last saturday..20/12..we attended another Bajau wedding..but in a much simpler way. My hubby is like a god father to the bridegroom...he alone converted to Islam since he was in std 3 but not his family... somehow he managed to get all his family except one of his brother to convert after last Hari Raya, amin...my husband's relative acted as keluarga angkat to him since then..and my hubby helps in any possible ways...i still remember when my hubby sent him to UMS(University Malaysia Sabah) for registeration, he asked my hubby to turn back home as he was so scared..but my hubby won't let him..he has graduated a year ago and currently working as a teacher at his hometown..good for him..now he is married to also UMS graduate hail from Kota Belud..

We met at this warung..this is one of the typical Bajau warung found along the roadside...i ate goreng pisang panas and teh tarik while waiting for them...

This is the name of the bride's kampung...

The akad nikah ceremony...everbody were ready to witness it..ops..no,no wait you have to follow our adat...

Haaa..according to our adat..you all have to stand up..and it is done in that way...mau lagi kecut pengantin...

Pak pong..pak pong...now the bersanding time..macam budak2 lagi pengantin ni..they were way too young..

Like my last post on Bajau wedding..it is a must to have this handmade cloth hanging at their house during the wedding day...
